Give Play Applications for 2019 Now Available

Applications for our Give Play program for 2019 summer camps and nature programs are now available.

Give Play is an initiative funded by the City of Oaks Foundation and supported by the City of Raleigh Parks Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. (More information is available on our “Programs” Page).

Children and teens ages 5-14 are invited to apply for financial aid to attend nature and outdoor themed summer camps at locations around the city, including Greystone Recreation Center, Glen Eden Pilot Park, Laurel Hills Community Center, Walnut Creek Wetland Center, Marsh Creek Park, Optimist Community Center, Method Community Center, Thomas G. Crowder Woodland Center, Eastgate Park , Peach Road Community Center, Chavis Community Center, and the Sgt. Courtney T. Johnson Community Center.

Campers who are awarded assistance will not be charged for camp, however, there is a $10 deposit required, which will be refunded upon completion of the camp week.

HOW TO APPLY:

Applications will be awarded based on financial need of applicant, availability of funds, and/or availability of spaces in eligible camps. 

     BY EMAIL: Completed applications can be emailed to Give.Play@raleighnc.gov.

     BY DROP-OFF: Dropped off at one of the following Parks, Recreation and Cultural
          Resources  locations between 8:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.
